SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

COLAGE is pleased to announce a continued
partnership with Horizons Foundation to award four $1,000
scholarships to support the undergraduate studies of students who
have one or more LGBTQ parent(s)/guardian(s) and have demonstrated
ability and commitment to effecting change in the LGBTQ community
and the community at large. The application deadline is Monday, June 2, 2008. |

PFLAG Scholarships provide an important, positive statement to a group of young people that is coping amazingly well in an often adverse school environment. They are marginalized and subjected to harassment and discrimination in many parts of the country, not only at school but also often in their own families. | |

Administered by Supporting Our Youth and governed by a board of Trustees, the Bill 7 Award was established in 1988 to provide financial support to lesbian and gay students in post-secondary education in Ontario. We extend the invitation to all members of our diverse queer community to apply for the Award. | |

The Inside Out Lesbian and Gay Film and Video Festival is now accepting applications for the 2008 Mark S. Bonham Scholarship for Queer Studies in Film and Video. The award of $5000 is intended to provide financial support to a Canadian student who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans pursuing studies in film and/or video at the post-secondary level. |
